- On your Mac
- Saved profiles, credentials, and network assignments are stored in Keychain. General app preferences are stored locally. Manage or delete saved records in Settings. Removing the app does not automatically remove Keychain records.
- When you connect
- ELWifi checks Apple’s captive-network endpoint to detect a login requirement. Portal pages contact the network operator, which receives any details you submit, including generated identities. Its own privacy policy applies. Private Mode does not hide your IP address or encrypt your traffic.
- Updates
- The app requests an update feed and downloads updates from the ELWifi website. These requests expose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to the hosting providers.
- This website
- The demo sends and saves no form entries. This page has no analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The site is served through GitHub Pages and Cloudflare, and loads its font from Google Fonts; those providers receive normal web requests, including your IP address, and may keep service logs.
- Questions & feedback
